Western North Carolina: Warming trend this week, highs reaching 50 and lows reaching 30.
Northeast Georgia: Warning trend this week, highs approaching 60 by Friday with lows crawling out of the 20's into the low 30s.
It is time - almost! A High South area fall (and winter) treat is the annual ‘shadow of the bear’! This phenomenon takes place near Whiteside Mountain where the late day sunset creates a shadow shaped like a bear.
